Now you know the drill, make your New Year's Resolution, get hyped and excited to hopefully succeed, and then unknowingly forget about it until the next one comes around. We've all been there don't worry, but if you're looking to actually achieve your New Year's Resolution this year then keep on reading for some extremely helpful tips into raising your ability into achieving your own personal goal(s).
1. Make Sure Your Resolution is Actually Achievable
How're you gonna succeed when your goal isn't "succeed-able?" (If that's even a word) Make sure you're having realistic standards here, and while I love the enthusiasm, you still have to keep things real here. Wanting to bring back the dinosaur era or inventing the first flying car is a tad-bit overstretched. Let's aim for something we actually have the resources for.
2. Use Modern-Day Technology to Your Advantage
With so much tech and numerous interfaces being created on the internet everyday, there's surely one out there to help you tackle your objective. There's plenty of apps, methods, websites, etc. to increase your chances in succeeding even more. Downloading reminder apps, utilizing alarms, and creating events (in your calendar app) will help you stick to your goal & will give you a better chance at actually overcoming it, if your constantly being reminded about it. Here are some apps that you can use to remind yourself about steps you can take to achieve your New Year's Resolution (but of course they can help you in other aspects as well.)

3. Use Psychology to Help You
People are naturally wired to be very social animals, it's simple science. Sometimes a little social pressure can help us accomplish our goals. It's more difficult to quit on something that you've told others you're committed to. There's something about the societal constraint that helps to keep one motivated. Of course you should never be peer pressured or forced to something you don't want to, but a little pressure from your family & friends to accomplish your ambitions is never a bad thing. (As long as they are your ambitions & no one else's.)
4. Stay Consistent
All the apps can do is only remind you, you have to make the conscious decision yourself. Your phone won't grow arms and physically force you to take whatever steps you need, that's your job. Try to plan out exactly how you can achieve your main goal, in smaller, easier baby steps that you can do to slowly to build yourself to the finish line instead. That way you can feel satisfied with yourself, and you'll most likely gain even more motivation when you see the progress that you've made, and your goal will look all the more attainable. Now chase your dreams, and Happy New Years! ❤️
